This is my review of the Green Smoke Social Smoker kit. Hope you like it. Check out my video review for a more in depth look.
Green Smoke are one of the biggest e cigarette providers in the US and have been selling e cigarettes since 2008. Whilst they are not as well know yet in the UK, they are becoming more familiar in the vaping scene and it is likely that it will only be a matter of time before they start marketing their products seriously over here.
I purchased the product direct from http://www.greensmoke.co.uk/ which was a good, informative website which was easy to use and make my order through. The shipping time was 3 days which is relatively good.
In terms of options available with the Green Smoke Social Smoker kit, you have a choice of either a short (160mah) or a long (270mah) battery of which you can choose either a red or green LED tip. You can also choose the flavour and strength of your cartomizers.
Presentation / packaging
The presentation box that the Green Smoke social starter kit comes in is a cardboard sleeve which looks nice with the Green Smoke branding on it and is opened via a magnetic flap on the front of the box.
Battery
The battery with this kit is charged by screwing it into the USB Home charger which either plugs directly into your computer or attaches to the mains adapter which is also included. The long 270mah battery takes about 4 hours to charge and when doing so, the light on the USB charger will illuminate green. The green LED tip option will illunminate when charging and when fully charged this light will go out. If the red LED tip option was chosen, the LED will light red whilst charging but will change to green when the battery is fully charged.
When fully charged, I was getting about 2.5 to 3hrs of vaping out of the long battery which is impressive for a device of this size. The thread at the end of the battery is made of brass which looks great and reassures you that this is not a cheaply made product.
Switch (responsiveness)
The switch on this product was one of the best I have reviewed to date, consistently performing really well throughout the week I reviewed the product. It activates with the slightest of suction power straight from the very first drag. In comparison there are alot of products on sale today which require a number of drags to be taken before the e cigarette starts performing. This was certainly not the case for this product and I can say this is one of the best performing switches on sale in the cigalike category.
Vaping experience
The Green Smoke e cigarette is a two part ecig and is assembled by screwing the battery into the cartomizer. The Green Smoke product has been styled on a traditional tobacco cigarette with a great amount of effort displayed in the detail. The battery even has the raised rings to further immitate the traditional cigarette look and the cartomizer also has the flavour and nicotine strength printed on the base end. Once assembled the long battery with the cartomizer attached measures 115mm and the short battery option measures 99mm.
In terms of performance, the Green Smoke product matched the looks, producing the most volume of vapour of all of the cigalike models I have reviewed so far. The switch worked perfectly, making vaping effortless. The throat hit from the tobacco 18mg was mellow but substantial and whilst the flavour took me a few drags to get used to, I really liked liked in the end.

10% discount codeOverall I would definitely say the Green Smoke product was one of the best cigalike models I have tried to date. It is effortless to use due to the switch performing so well and produces loads of vapour but delivered in a really smooth way. Whilst the products are towards the top end in terms of price, from what I have seen, I certainly think they are worth the money.

Been on Green Smoke for a month. Stopped smoking straight away ( 30 fags a day). Tried a few other brands first then did some research and bought a starter kit. Then bought another battery and a case to keep all the stuff in. I use their strong tobacco cartomisers. There maybe cheaper products out there but Im really happy with this one- it’s saving my life and I can enjoy the pub again.
