Liberro e cigar review

The Best Electronic Cigarette

This is a first for us at the-best-electronic-cigarette, a review of an electronic cigar purchased from

I was wondering how long it would take for one of the larger providers to launch an e-cigar and by the look of it they must be selling well too as everytime I tried to purchase one, they were out of stock.

So, let's see if it was worth the wait.

Presentation box / packaging
The presentation box the product comes in has been designed on one a high end cuban cigar would come in and looks great. First thing I noticed was that was no Liberro branding on the box which was strange but makes for classy look. The box is opened by pulling a yellow ribbon on the side. Inside the elegant design is continued, with the contents displayed in a sunken casing with a mock velour trim.  The two cartomizers are hidden in two cases which have been styled on a traditional cigar. How very decadent!

Included in the box are the following:

  • 1 x battery
  • 2 x cartomizers
  • 1 x USB charger
  • 1 x mains adapter

When I first saw the battery that comes with this kit I thought it looked huge, however upon closer inspection I could see that the actually battery only takes up half the body. The other half is where the cartomizer is housed. It is made in hard black plastic with both a brass thread and an elegant brass ring which circles the light at the tip. The light is covered by a clear plastic dome which has been styled on ash. I must say, this product has a really quality, elegant feel to it.

Due to the design of this product it has a slightly different method for charging. The USB lead has a connector which has been styled on a cartomizer. This connector screws into the battery and then the USB is connected to your computer. I was finding the battery lasting about 4hrs and took between 3-4hrs to charge from dead.

Switch (responsiveness)
The product is assembled by first screwing the cartomizer into the battery and then attaching a beatifully designed mouthpiece over the end of the cartomizer. Due to this I did find myself having to take a couple of slower, longer draws to warm up the atomizer  but nothing to particularly worry about as when I did the switch worked fine.

Vaping performance
Once fully assembled, the e-cigar feels nice and heavy in the hand. Once you get used to the slower draws, the e-cigar performs well, delivering big clouds of vapour. I was surprised that the cigar flavoured e-liquid was really similar to the taste you get from a traditional tobacco cigar. Definitely the closest match I have tried so far. The throat hit from the e-liquid was good too, delviering a nice, not too harsh kick.

Donny's final thoughts

I really enjoyed the Liberro e-cigar. It is built to a very high standard and looks great. Whilst you have to take slower longer draws to get the best out of it, as the flavour is beautiful and you can't help but smile when using it.
