Liberro Johnson Creek Vea (Ecig) review

The Best Electronic Cigarette

This is our review of Liberro’s new performance electronic cigarette the Johnson Creek VEA purchased from

As you may have seen in my other product reviews, the purchasing experience with Liberro is always good. They have a well laid out website with great product photos and enough information to allow for a considered purchase. I recently saw on their site that they have opened their first Liberro shop in Buntingford which suggests that business might be going well!

But anyway, enough about their new shop, is their new flagship product the Johnson Creek worth a peek?

Presentation box / packaging
When I first saw the Johnson Creek Vea packaging, I was a little confused but in a good way. The Johnson Creek Vea has been styled in a Western cowboy theme, which is refreshingly different from the usual boring designs. Maybe the result of a happy memory maybe….
Anyway the box itself has a real quality feel to it and looks great. It has a clear window at the front to display the product. The box is opened by removing the top half and inside the Johnson Creek Vea is sunk into the usual foam top layer.

Included in the box are the following:

  • 2 x batteries (650 mah)
  • 5 x cartomizers These are empty
  • 1 x USB charger
  • 1 x cone
  • 1 x manual

"The 'V' at the end of the battery illuminates when the button is pressed"

Liberro Vea battery

The Vea comes with two 650 mah batteries which are dark red in colour, in line with the Vea product branding. You can immediately see that the Vea is a step above in terms of build quality from the usual Ego-t type electronic cigarettes and has some nice design touches such as the Johnson Creek tree logo displayed neatly under the activation button. The end of the battery has a contrasting silver metal cap which has a ‘V’ emblazoned on it which lights up red when the battery button is pressed. This is removed by unscrewing the cap anti clockwise. Beneath the cap is a mini USB socket which is where the USB charger is plugged into which in turn then plugs into your computer. Another nice feature of the Vea is that it can be used to vape on whilst charging, which is handy if you get caught short. The battery incorporates a 3 button press disable functionality, which I find very useful when carrying the product in a pocket.

The battery itself takes approximately 90 mins to charge and lasted between 5 and 6 hours which is pretty much in line with a typical 650mah battery.

Switch (responsiveness)
The switch on the Johnson Creek Vea performed very well. A light press of the battery button and the slightest of draws activate the switch. Another impressive score.

Liberro Vea cartomizer

Vaping experience
The Vea is assembled by screwing the battery into the cartomizer and then slipping the cone over the cartomizer to the base of the battery. The cartomizers are again dark red in colour and have the Johnson Creek tree logo positioned towards the top. When fully assembled the Vea is a smart looking piece of kit.
Once assembled the e cigarette measures 120mm in length.
In terms of vaping, the Vea performed just as good as it looked, producing a mass of vapour. The Liberro 12mg Riskee flavour was quite sweet on the tongue and provided a nice, not too harsh throat hit.   I was getting approximately 100 – 120 puffs from a fully filled cartomizer.

Donny's final thoughts

Liberro have really pushed the boat out with the Johnson Creek Vea. It has a real quality solid feel about it, has some nice design touches, is a great performer and is priced well. All in all, I think I am going to stick with the Vea for the time being.
