Liberro Realis review

The Best Electronic Cigarette

This is my review of the Liberro Realis starter kit. Please check out my video review for a more in depth look.

The Liberro website was a pretty professional set up, clearly layed out, simple to understand terminology, some interesting blogs and the usual customer testimonials of which I am always a touch sceptical about. Liberro also offer the option to subscribe to their site to receive promotional discounts and product updates, a nice interactive approach. They also have the usual social media links allowing you to sign up to their facebook page, twitter and youtube accounts.

With the Liberro Realis starter kit you can tailor your order by adding a USB mains charger for £5 extra and you you have a choice of either the regular or menthol flavoured cartomizer, which are both 18mg of nicotine.

The shipping time was 2 days which is very good too, as of late I have been receiving products up to 5 days from the order date.

Presentation box / packaging

The presentation box the Realis comes in is cardboard but is nicely designed and cute in size. It states some of the typical benefits involved with using electronic cigarettes and promotes Liberro's social media position aswell.  Inside, everything is packed well and uses the space well.

Included in the box are the following:

  • PCC Personal Charging Case
  • 6 x Liberro cartomizers (choice of either regular or menthol flavour - 18mg Nicotine)
  • 2 x rechargeable batteries 100 mah
  • 1 x USB charging cable Optional USB mains charger - additional £5
  • 1 x user manual

Battery

The Liberro Realis PCC is a smart looking piece of kit and is of somekind a plastic structure which almost has a velour feel to it. Very siimlar to the Skycig in size and substance. The PCC opens via a hinge at the top immitating the same design as a traditional tobacco pack of cigarettes. Open her up and there is space for 5 cartomizers, one fully assembled ecig and allows one battery to be charged at a time. This is done simply by slipping the battery in the relevant hole and screwing it in clockwise. A dead battery takes about 2 hours to charge. The PCC itself takes about 2.5 hours to charge which is in line with the majority.

This PCC does have some really nice touches, the first being a blue LED screen on the front which displays the PCC's battery power and is activated by pressing the middle of three buttons below the LED screen. The other two other buttons activate LED lights, one on the bottom of the PCC and the other is inside where the batteries and cartomizers are held, which is useful if your in a dark place and can't see what your doing. All in all, a really impressive PCC.

Switch (responsiveness)

The switch on the Liberro Realis also performs really well and doesn't require a strong draw to activate. I did the usual tests, like blowing on the end of the e cigarette to check whether the switch activated whih in turn would drain your battery uneccessarily, but it didn't and consistently performed well over the week I reviewed.

Vaping experience

The electronic cigarettes are assembled in the usual way by screwing the cartomizer into the battery. Once assembled it measure 87mm in length and  is elegant in design. The device definitely does have a quality made feel to it. The thread on the Realis is 510, however I tried it with a few of other devices and it worked with some but not all, so something to bear in mind.

With regards to the vaping experience, I enjoyed the Realis very much, the amount of vapour and throat hit was really good and probably overperformed for such a small device. This product definitely grew on me over time. At first i wasn't that keen of the taste of the regular flavour but I ended up liking it. In terms of puffs per cartomizer, I was getting about 80, which is ok too.  I suppose the only downside about this product is the battery length, but this is expected from a 100 mah battery. I was getting about 50 minutes before I needed to recharge it, but this wasn't areally  problem as I had the other battery already charged in the PCC.

One thing that is quite strange but good about this product is the way you fill the cartomizers. This is done by using one of the rubber bungs which come attached to each end of the cartomizers. You simply fill up the rubber bung with about 6 to 8 drops of e-liquid, then dunk the vaping end of the cartomizer into the bung and the suction fills the cartomizer. Then turn the cartomizer, with the bung on the end upside down and leave it for a couple of minutes, then remove the bung, give the cartomizer a wipe and your good to go.

Donny's final thoughts

The Realis is small, slender elegant device with a very responsive switch resulting in a really nice vaping experience. The only downside is the battery life, but this isn't really a problem as you have a slick looking, innovative PCC.

Hmm great review as always, some good details mentioned but I think it looks more like a SkyCig clone. However I think the JACVapour Smart PCC might be a better performer and of course its the good old KR808 and soon to be V3i batterys. Please keep the great videos comming and if Donny does not get a TV show soon, then we are all doomed! grin

GEt it. try a fruity or unrvalofed juice to see if you like it. if you get a nasty juice you will hate it and probably not give it another chance. I would sugguest you get one right away because it’s worth a shot to get off cigs. These will not make you quit smoking just take the place of cigarettes. I can tell you where to get really inexpensive nicotine and you can buy 2 years worth for the cost of 1 months worth of cigarettes.
