V1P PCC e-cigarette (Ecig) review

Published: 16th Apr 2012

The Best Electronic Cigarette

This is my review of the V1P PCC starter kit purchased from http://www.jacvapour.com/. Check out my video review for a more in depth look.

As I have mentioned in other e cigarette reviews of Jacvapour products, I do like the purchasing experience with them. I think the website is clear with some useful information and user reviews of the products.  However, the main thing I like is the way you can tailor your order. In terms of the V1P, you have the choice of battery colour, the colour of the light at the end of the e cigarette and the flavour and strength of your desired cartridges. Personalisation.....nice. I received the package in 2 days which is pretty usual for jacvapour, always prompt with their deliveries.

Presentation box / packaging

The presentation box is of nice sleek black design, which opens via a magnetic catch at the front with an imitation hinge flip action.

Included in the box are the following:

  • PCC (Personal Charging Case)
  • 5 x Jacvapour cartomizers (you choose the strength and flavour)
  • 1 x battery (again your choose the colour)
  • 1 x pack of mixed bungs (these just stick on the end of your cartomizers, so you can identify the flavour)
  • USB charging lead
  • User manual
  • Quick start guide to the PCC
  • USB playback charger (optional)
  • And a smoking card (details the laws on vaping in public)

“Beautiful brushed stainless steel battery complemented by a black cartomizer”

Jacvapour V1P e cigarette starter kit

The Personal Charging Case (PCC) is a pocket friendly, smooth looking piece of kit. It's of a metal structure. I went for the gloss black option and it looks great. What I really like about this PCC, is the sliding action to open, which again is different to most. The PCC will hold one battery and a fully assembled e cigarette or one battery and two cartomizers.

On the back of the PCC there is a button and 5 LED's. A single press of the button will let you know how much battery is left in the PCC by illuminating the LED's below. The more LED's lit, the more battery power left.....easy. To charge a battery, you slide open the PCC and screw the battery to a connector. The charge commences by simply pressing and holding the button on the back of the PCC, which will flash for a few seconds and then change to red. Once fully charged, the light will change to green. The PCC takes about 4hrs to charge and will charge an e cigarette battery takes about 90 minutes.

Switch (responsiveness)

The switch on the V1P works really well and is one of the best I have tried to date. Whilst you have to take a relatively strong draw, it works wonderfully and ery responsive not go off with any minor airflow movements. As shown in the video, it didn't even go off when I blew on it.

Vaping experience

In terms of the e cigarette itself, the one I reviewed had a beautiful brushed stainless steel battery complemented by a black cartomizer. The picture shown is of the newly designed V1P which I think looks even better. I particularly love the detail they have gone to with the JAC branded rubber end tips.  The ecig is assembled by simply screwing the cartomizer into the battery and is 100mm in length. The vaping experience matched the looks. It produced a great amount of vapour and makes for a smooth, not too harsh, enjoyable throat hit. This model operates a KR808 fit which I find generally perform slightly better than the 510 equivalent. This is definitely one of my favourite mini e cigarettes.

Donny's final thoughts

I love this mini ecig as it performs really well in all the main areas. The one I reviewed had a brushed stainless steel battery which reminds me of a fine piece of jewelry. I mean its a style statement, you walk down the street with this in your mouth and people will think you have got something to say!

I love the VGO’s well made, vape great and the JACVapour service is 2nd to none!

I use my Vgo 650 mAh daily! They last MONTHS. Also, some of my tanks taste better on them pushing out 3.5v ? - something like that….If you get a 510 adapter you can use them with 510’s too. Thanks for this video - happy vaping!

Dude, your reviews are very entertaining. 1 point, the skirt cone does affect the draw as well as give a clean look. It tightens up the draw a little.

I found 18mg stronger than I am used to with this model- which is good for work as u get plenty of nicotine to last to next break. But on a night out at the pub or whatever, u might want to use weaker e-liq 12 or 6 so u can puff away frequently without overdoing nicotine. Do not expect taste to be just like tobacco - but persist and u will enjoy the experience every bit as much as rollups. megas have narrow mouthpiece which might be more comfortable to draw on if ur used to rollups

If you’ve already tried the Tornado Tank I’d love to hear your thoughts. Equally if you’ve not yet taken on the Tank I’d love to hear your thoughts when you do.
Great work on the videos, the perfect blend of information with a subtle comedy undertone. I was hoping that you could help promoting the soon to be popular phrase “vaping’s cool and the chics dig it”.
Tootaloo for now

Hi guys, apologies re the delayed reply, busy week so far.I have indeed tried the Tornado Tank & can say its certainly a decent piece of kit. I have not got round to uploading the vid yet though. I must say, honestly I think the Jacvapour Vgo performs as good & is better value for money aswell. The carts with the Vgo hold more liquid too & slip an additional bottle of e-liquid and that should reach the free P&P amount. Our discount code will get you 15% off so it would work out about £20 cheaper!

Hi Donny, Matt here, brother of RickyP. Firstly let me tell you that your reviews are really top notch, both useful and most entertaining. I’m going to purchase an e-cig tonight after having a cheeky vape on a colleagues e-cig this afternoon. The one I tried was the ‘Tornado Tank’. I really enjoyed it but the first thing that came to mind after my toot was, ‘what does Donny think’?
